Seeing The Good In The Bad
Being here in juvenile hall has been a bad experience for me, but there have been a few major benefits. The bad experiences are being away from my family. I think every one’s real weakness is being taken away from their loved ones.
You feel alone and weak without them, but when your parents come to visit it makes things a lot more bearable. After you get passed that, you just got to focus on serving your time without any problems and time will pass faster than you think. The good few benefits juvenile hall has given me are that I have a lot of time to think things over and ways to change, for me and my family.
Another reason is if I hadn’t gotten caught and locked up, I would have never stopped doing what I was doing and my behavior might have gotten worse. Another thing is I can quit my bad habits. And best of all is I can read the bible almost every night. So if I would have never gotten in here, I would have never changed. The lesson I learned is that in life you have to be optimistic about situations and see the good in even the worst of things.
